The annual Oilmen’s Condy Cup hockey tournament was held at the Savanna Recreational Complex in Savanna, Alberta, from March 4 to 6. The three-day event brought together teams from across the region for a spirited competition in support of the local community. This year’s event raised over $30,000, with the majority of proceeds being directed towards community rink upgrades.
Team Birchcliff emerged as tournament champions, hoisting the Condy Cup following a thrilling 4–3 win over the former three-peat champions in the final game.
Since its inception in 2017, the Condy Cup has served as a meaningful fundraiser supporting local community organizations and initiatives. Birchcliff has been a proud sponsor of the event for many years, including this year’s sponsorship of the “Safe Ride Home Initiative”.
